He is known for his special expertise in gastrointestinal oncology, liver and pancreatic cancers, colorectal surgery/proctology and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

He has served in many of the top institutions in India like Apollo Liver transplantation & HPB surgery unit, Chennai, SIMS hospital, Chennai and Medanta, the Medicity, Gurgaon as a consultant performing various surgeries including the specialties of GI oncology, HPB surgery, advanced laparoscopy, and Colorectal/proctology.

He currently has his clinic in Porur, Chennai and is also practicing at Vijaya hospitals, Vadapalani.
